    I bought our registered paint gal all ready trained with 60 days on her for 450$'s and she's the most kid safe horse we have. So yes it is a bit steep. Especially for lame.

    Ok, so scratch that. The owner sent some links about flexion tests, and we agreed on a sale of $800 with some tack and delivery :)

    I think he'll do ok for what I need. If not, I will provide a loving comfortable home

    Thats good to hear! Especially that you didn't give up on him, alot of good horses have the felxion, and need shots and joint meds but they still work well, just keep a good eye on him and he should give you a few years of good riding, and then many years of happiness and companionship after that!
