I would say he's a jockey/exercise rider. I'm sure he doesn't get much about 5' tall. She is a gorgeous mare though she has scary thin legs IMHO.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

That's normal for tracks with TB's, my own puppy dog who would rather sleep than move was photoed with a chain over his nose too - they just do it as standard practice.

ah, ok. I knew that they generally use the stud chain with all race-horses, but I hadn't seen very many others (unless they were marked as 'needs time to cool down from the track, or very 'high energy') with it run under their upper lip against the gums :)

double post but this gal looks like she has potential for a new job. Really nice, clean, feminine head and body...a bit thin, but I see some good conformation in there. Young, too.

I wish they would of taken the time to square this guy up completely. I see maybe a bit of pigeon-toe, but he looks really solid, with a nice topline considering...
