I like her. She's a well built mare, and she has a kind eye.
Seems a tad long in the back and her back legs look posty, but that could just be the pictures.

If you like her, and she rides well enough for you, go for it!

Her price is fair for her training, I think. And if she was broke correctly, she probably remembers most of the stuff and won't be too hard to tune up either. Her conformation isn't terrible either, though something seems off about those back legs. I'd at least go see her.

She looks nice, and with a bit of work will fill out nicely by the looks of her. If she has a good temperament I can’t see anything particularly wrong with her; if I were you though, I’d be prepared to re-train her from the ground up though, I’d be sceptical of this “green broke” gear, just start over.

They look OK, though a few more photos would be better. But I’d still go with the mare. Her confirmation??, I can’t think of any real complaints, maybe a little light in the bone???, but it’s hard to tell from a photo; and if the seller is telling the truth and she hasn’t been ridden much, with good work and appropriate nutrition she should muscle up nicely. Personally I don’t think there’s any need to go pulling out a measuring tape and go measuring her pasterns and a protractor for her feet; since is only costing you a few hundred after all, not tens of thousands. But she has something the other two don’t, a womb, that makes her more valuable to me. When she is past riding, find a good stud to put her to and you won’t need to buy another horse, just go foal for foal with the stud’s owner.

The geldings, neither have decent pictures to judge conformation:-x,but from the 2 in pics prefer the look of the buckskin. From descriptions, not that those are much better  sounds like the Paint horse has had more riding. Best thing if they aren't too far is to go see them,or at least find more about their training better pictures:).

Thanks everyone. I do want to check out the horses, but I'm discussing with my family whether it'd be better to buy, lease, or lease to own right now. So we'll see what happens! I may continue to post other ads or show you other horses and get your opinions, if that's alright? ;)

I know from experience, that if you are looking at horse ads be prepared to buy NOW! I mean it's just torturing yourself by looking, seeing them sold, and you have to start looking all over again... Pick a price range, and if you see a horse that interests you, pick up the phone right away and talk to the seller then go look...

Horse shopping is so fun!

Horse shopping is fun, but can be frustrating!! >:/ Especially when you've run out of ads to look at because your price range is pretty low.
However, I think my family and I have decided on leasing another horse first. I'm going to be seeing a horse tomorrow that I might possibly lease, and I have a really good feeling about this. I will probably make another thread introducing the horse, etc. because I'm really excited!

Sounds exciting :) Just make sure that the horse will have an option to be BOUGHT, or you could end up falling head over heals for it, then find out that it isn't even an option to buy him/her -- there are some sneaky people out there that just want their horse ridden for nothin' (not saying this is the case) -- oops, there I am rambling again! lol

Anyway, have fun! :)

I know I won't be able to buy the horse but I'm OK with that.
