Well I said I would update after the look-see... so I am!
I took a bunch of video of i you wanted to see, but suffice to say it was not a match. Very cute and sweet though! I got on and did walk trot. Trot was bouncy, and I was trying to get a good bend going to help (as everyone said it would) - I mostly spent my time doing that. I declined to canter or jump. If I had gotten a good trot circle going, I would have.. but I just felt she wasn't as put together as she should be. (I wasn't a good enough rider to really get her there).
I also found out when she was a racehorse she had broken a hip and my friend who was there said that's kind of bad. ?
14h is to small. I leased a 14.2h horse last summer.. now that I've been on bigger I realize my legs just wrap around her belly. :) 15-16 would be perfect. 17 I could do but prefer 15-16.
Also I've been told to not bother with horses under 5-6 as they will probably be too much horse for me? Younger, less trained, more unpredictable? (in general?)
