SR, I've seen that picture around the forum a few times and I've always wondered, is that your property?
Either way, it looks absolutely gorgeous.

Oh heck no, that's the racing/training stable where I got JJ. My place is quite a bit more redneck than that! JJ's slumming now!

OP, could you find someone interested in doing a free lease on him? I'm sure there are plenty of barns in the area that have students interested in a free lease situation, or even a barn that would interested in using him as a lesson horse while you're gone.

Um, yeah, not buying the whole "sell or euth" bit -- if anything, you'd be better off selling him for a dollar than SPENDING the money to euth him.....which is why your post has zero credibility in my mind.

In my experience....country english pleasure is relegated to Arabs, mogans and gaited breeds. I've never seen it in hunter type shows. But, then, I don't show hunters either.

Nothing about this thread/the ad makes sense...

Seems the OP has left the building.

I do not think the poster is a troll.

The ad for the horse is up at a bunch of different horse sale sites, all with roughly the same information.

I think the OP is a young woman who adores her horse, places a high value on him, but it not very well informed about the horse business or the current market for horses. Nothing wrong with that.

When I sold my beloved junior horse to go to college, I don't think my ad or representation of him was much better or more accurate than this posters.

Please try to give the poster the benefit of the doubt and post constructively.

This. I believe this is legit. Whether or not the horse is worth 20k....I'm going to need a lot of convincing. In any case, I think the OP has left.

Did you include a threat that the horse would be euthanized if you were unable to sell it, maura?
