Horses: 0 | Hi Allie,
Thank-you so much for the additional information, and he is such a gorgeous horse! I wish I could say that I met your criteria, but the truth is I just really love horses and wanted an opportunity to ride. If Denny needed someone to come and visit him and exercise him by taking him out for a walk or ride around the ring, that would be perfect. However, I really don't have any experience in showing. I really hope you can find someone that will be exactly what you are looking for and I wish you a speedy recovery!
Thanks so much for your time.

| Natalie, I appreciate you taking time to reply back. Unfortunately I am looking for just a little more than that, BUT if nothing comes to fruition soon, I will contact you as a light exercise rider :) Thank you so much! |

| Aw Allie, I'm sorry. You're doing the best for your horse though. I've got my fingers crossed that you'll be back in the saddle soon and in the meantime I hope you find a good fit to keep your boy working.
If only I lived in Alberta... |

Horses: 0 | Hi - I just saw your posting for Denny. I am a dressage rider, transposed to Calgary from the States for a couple of years - and am horseless at the moment. I am definitely interested in talking to you and meeting Denny. In what area of Calgary is he boarded?
This is my first visit to this forum - in fact, I only signed up so that I could post a reply to your post (having found it through Google). I'm not quite sure of the protocol here - so don't know if it's kosher to post a phone number or email address here. I'll wait your reply here.
Thanks,
Linda |

| I must have missed something. What happened (if I may ask)? Are you alright? |

Linda | Hi Linda,
Welcome to the forum! Denny is boarded in the SouthWest, near Bragg Creek. I will fire off a PM to you!
Best,
Allie Quote:

I tried riding again in August, and blew my knee out again. I am now "a medical marvel" according to my physiotherapists as they haven't a clue what's wrong. Haha. It could be anywhere up to 2 years before I can ride again. |

| I'm sorry. I'd hate to have to lease out Sunny :(
Best of luck. Get well. |

| Thank you. It's going to be hard (he's my baby!) but I think it will be best for him. |

| I know everyone has already said it like 10000X, but I wish you the best of luck finding the right person for Denny! And I wish you a speedy recovery too!
So you can't do ANY kind of riding? Not even if it is just walking around on him? |

| No, the squatting position strains my knee too much. Maybe if I had a western saddle or rode very lightly bareback... but if anything were to happen and I had to dismount in a hurry, my healthcare professionals wouldn't be too happy. |
