Pre-purchase exam

Hi, I'm hoping to get a horse vet checked within the next few days for buying.. I'm just wondering is it okay to have a short ride 2 hours before the vet comes? Giving it time to cool down and rest? It wouldn't be anything hard only popping over some trotting poles and a small cross bar :) Would this be okay?

Thanks!

I would think so. If he only passes because he's rested for a week [or how ever long], would you want to buy him ?

A good workout ending about 10 min before the vet arrives usually means the horse is more willing to stand still for the vet.
