Quarter Horse Mare For Sale

I am selling my 11yr old. 15.2H Quarter Horse Mare. She does very well going western and english. She has a very soft mouth and responds well to leg pressure. She would be good for trail, gaming, english classes, western classes, etc. She is UTD on shots and worming, stand for farrier, vet, grooming, etc. Loads and trailers very well. I am selling because I need to down size my herd and make room for a baby. She gets along great with other horses! I am located in Catawissa, Pa. If you are interested please contact me @ Strausser8949@yahoo.com. I am asking $750.00 OBO. I will post pictures soon!

Hi,
Two of my friends are looking to buy a horse together early next year. I am going to tell them to look at your girl. Can you give me anymore info on her? Name/any goofieness/any health problems from the past/just anything really would be helpful. I am located in Norther Illinoise. I know when I went to pittsburg it took 9 hours. How far are you from pittsburg? Are you willing to meet half way or anything like that? She is very beauriful... the first picture she looks A LOT like my gelding! Thanks in advance.

Hello, Ruby is her name. She is not registered. What exactly are you looking for in a prospect? We are located about 3 1/2 to 4 hours east of pittsburg and I don't want anyone to drive tht long of a distance if she is not exactly what they want. Right now she is just standing because we have been getting ready for a weanling so things have been crazy! She doesn't really have any goofieness but she can have her "mare-ish" moments... so can they all. She does not like clippers but with work im sure she would get over that. She has had no past injurys. She is very sound and ready to ride. Yes se is a very pretty mare, she sheds out to be a really pretty color in the summer. Her mane also grows VERY long and she has a long thick tail. I keep her mane cut short for easy maintenance. Thanks for your interest!

They are looking for a horse that they can trail ride and just have fun with. They both ride english, but one also rides western. I am going to have her join the forum and talk to you. Thanks for the reply! I wish I had the time and money for a second horse, but being college one is enough! Thanks again!

Ohh trust me I know what you mean about the college thing lol I am currently in college too. Yes Ruby would enjoy the trails, she has done that a lot. She likes both english and western, I think she likes english more being because its lighter tack but she doesn't seem to mind either way.
