Quarter Horse for sale in BC

Beautiful dark brown QH cross mare, 16hh, 10 yr. Solid build, good feet, and good ground manners, has never been lame. Stands to gear up, good to load and trailer, good with the farrier. Loves any attention you give her, comes when you whistle, first one to the fence, not herd bound. Good pleasure/trail horse suitable for a confident beginner.

She is really cute but overweight. What was her price? And reason for selling?

Well I guess that would depend on your personal taste. She is a big girl and in my opinion not over weight. If you are seriously interested in her then I would be more than happy to discuss price, however seeings as you are from Washington and I am in Canada, and all the red tape to cross boarders, I would assume that you are probably not looking to buy from up here??? Always nice to see what people like and don't like in a horse though.

I happen to think she is stunning! I love the beefcake look :)
I didn't know there was a bunch of red tape crossing borders from Canada to the US though. My son has sold a horse trailer and a boat? I can't remember the other thing for sure and it wasn't too bad for those things.

So back to your mare? What is the asking price? Is she trained in any certain discipline?

I've only purchases through the internet and the brokerage fees coming this way kill you. Maybe I'm mistaken about the extra red tape.

Do not personally know what is involved with bringing them over the border but I do know that buying horses form Canada is pretty darn common.

She is a nice looking mare.

Wonder how a person finds out about costs? My best friend's husband is a professional hauler so I get killer deals but bringing across the border could be a deal killer. I know he doesn't cross borders.

Probably should start a new thread so as not to totally hijack the OP's thread.

Thanks for the links, I will check them out so I know what is involved. Guess would be a good idea to check out the Canadian regulations also.

My goodness. That is a beautiful mare, and certainly not overweight. I can see the best of both breeds (Morgan and QH right?) in her. I wish I were closer... I'd snatch her up! :) In the meantime, here's a friendly bump.
