I have a 14 hnd chestnut lippitt stallion that is 12 years old and he's blind. He's about as good a stallion as anyone will find. He is (or was) the only one in the entire state of oklahoma. He produces extra nice off spring. I've bred him to many different breeds from shetlands to percherons. Have a daughter out of a mustang mare that is tops.
There is much to say about him, but I will just say I need to find him a new home. He will produce very excellent large ponies.
He is Barre Town Caleb Howe AMHR #139388, by Ashmoro Mountaineer AMHR #116330.
I'm asking $2500 for him. That's not set in stone, but I won't let him go to someone who can't afford to give him good care and who doesn't appreciate what he is.
The vet thinks he went blind because he got lepto as a three year old. I've owned him since he was 6 months old. He's as nice as they get for his breed, and has produced excellent pure and part off spring. His daughters run around 13.2 hnds and sons around 14 hnds. Has produced chestnut and bay.
