Rocky Mountain gelding for lease/sale-Massachusetts USA

Unfortunately I have to sell my baby. :( I know a few people in the New England area have asked where to find a RMH so here is the Craigslist ad.

You need to put a price in. I doubt many people will reply without one, I know I wouldn't. I would also list him on Horse Clicks, they let you put photos on their ad free of charge.

To be honest I have no idea what price to put on him. I think my brother paid $1000 for him completely un broke. But I really just want him to have a good home. He is so good, he deserves it!

First off, I really recommend you take a good standing conformation picture of him and put him on DreamHorse. It is only $20 for a picture, the ad is included. Price him at $1200 if he is registered, and $1000 if he isn't. And if you know his bloodlines make sure you fill that out. Also Horse Clicks lets you put up to 4 photos in with an ad for no charge. Horseville lets you do a text ad, and there are some others that do one picture with text for an ad at no charge. These horses are the in thing right now since many riders are into the age bracket where bouncing on the trail isn't that much fun.

Good luck with your sale. If he was closer to me he would be in my barn.

I may have a buyer, but I have never sold a horse before. Anything I should know? Anything I need to have?

Just what your state requires as far as coggins and shots. If he is registered in your name you just sign off on the papers to the new owner. If not just a bill of sale saying you sold a __ year old RMH on such and date and sign your name.

Hope it goes well!
