    Sadly... For sale.

I can't believe the day ever came that I would even THINK about selling my two boys. Though I put a lot of thought and tears into it and decided they deserve more than a pasture doing nothing as I have lost the time needed to work with them.

Marvel of Flames, highly known here as Phoenix. Born February 11th, 2012 is a two year old APHA registered stud colt. He knows all the basic ground manners needed to start under saddle in about half a year to a year. He knows how to walk, back, and trot on command. Loves being haltered and will stand tied, great for the farrier, handles water okay, loads, and lunges. He actually really likes working in the round pen, knows how to transition between a walk and a trot and back down again on command off the lunge line. Also knows how to pivot and sidepass, but it has been a while. Message me for more information, I am asking $1000 for him.

Solid Choice Okie, or just Okie. Born February 23rd, 2011 is a three year old APHA registered gelding. Knows all basic ground manners needed to start under saddle, I believe he is ready. Knows to walk, back, and trot on command. Will practically halter himself and bickers with my colt over who is going to go with me. Stands tied, okay for the farrier, does well with water, loads and lunges. Has done a little bit of ground driving. Been bridled, saddled, and mounted several times, but that is it. He is not broke or anywhere near it.
Message me for more information, I am asking $750 for him.
Solid Bred APHA Gelding for Sale

Both of these boys are not broke to ride and not even close to it. They need an experienced handler who knows how to start a horse or knows someone that does. Only reason I am selling is I can not afford four horses, I'm just out of school about to move on my own here soon. They deserve to be worked with and time spent. Both could be great horses under saddle with time.

So sorry you have to sell them - they are both quality horses. I applaud your honesty, and have no doubt someone highly capable would be thrilled to buy them! Best of luck :)

    * Off topic, but too ironic- My birthday is Feb. 11, and my brother's is Feb. 23!

Oh, that is extremely ironic! Interesting... Haha. Thank you! It saddens me to sell them. Though they both deserve a job. They love to work.

So sorry that you have to sell your boys! They are lovely and obviously well cared for... if you were closer I'd be awfully tempted to snatch up Okie :) I hope you find them the perfect homes!

If I was in the market for buying, I'd love Okie.

    Good luck.

You might consider retaking the pics of the paint, or adjusting it. It appears the cameral was tilted on one side. Look how his hooves don't line up with the bottom edge of the picture and this is causing him to look severely rump high. A post in the background isn't vertical either.

I could have sworn you just bought Phoenix.

I'm sorry you have to sell them though.

I've had Phoenix since a foal. The pictures of him are odd looking because of how hilly the back ground is. Plus are half a year old, really need new ones but its what I have.
