Price

I think i want close to 9k but its negotiable. I also want him to go to a great home and possibly a show home. He has great bloodlines, fantastic body and amazing movement. He learns things very quickly and it sticks. He is worth every penny.

Is he started yet? What are you doing with him currently?

Yes actually, he has been started. I have been on him and ridden him around bareback and with a saddle. Actually the first time that i got on him was bareback (and you know how some horses just do not whatsoever like the feel of the butt bones moving on them), well all he did was turn his head and look at me as if he were saying "Oh, hi, this is cool" haha. He is such a sweet heart. I have not been on him for a long period of time because he is two and i dont want to stress his legs. He is excellent at line driving, learning showmanship, whinnies to you when you come up to his stall, comes to you in the field, he wont fight you. He has also been to many shows and taken first in every color class, and yearling class, he is getting up there with the big halter geldings but has placed usually 2. He has gotten grand champion in his yearlings and reserve in his geldings class.

If you were to get him, what would you do with him?

I would also love to get alot more for him, i mean just his color alone makes him worth so much but now that he is started he is "worth" more. I really want him to go to a good home though.

With the judges, he is a head turner. He catches the judges eye.

I'm not looking for one at the moment. I have one youngster that I have to find the time to train this summer. Ha ha. I'm just trying to get an idea about him to see if I can offer you any advice.

I think he's beautiful, and as far as your price, I don't know. I have never competed in halter, nor have I been around it very much, so I don't know how to price 2 year olds for it. $9K seems like a lot to me for a 2 year old (especially with the horse market the way it is right now), but maybe someone with experience in your discipline will chime in.

Your horse is incredible, I'm sure he has great bloodlines although I don't know stock lines. But in my opinion you are asking too much for him. He is beautiful but the market is very down right now and horses are going cheap. I just bought a Quarter Horse who's Grandpa is Peppy San Badger as a four year old with 90 days of Western Pleasure training on him. He is a Bay Roan so has good coloring, but we paid $2500 for him.

Correct me if I'm wrong anyone but that is just my opinion.

Best of luck selling him :)
