Searching for a horse I used to own

I'm searching for a horse I used to own. She is a sorrel AQHA mare born 1990, star & strip, about 15.1, sold her at horse sale in Perry, Ga. around 1999. The people that bought her were Georgia residents and they resold her to someone in Missippi. That's where I dead ended. Her registered name is Miss KC Burner.

Why are you searching for her? You sold her 11 years ago.

What do you hope to gain by finding out who owns her now?

If you do find out that information, what do you plan to do with it?

You need to remember that not everyone thinks a phone call, e-mail, or letter out of the blue from some stranger who used to own their horse is a good thing.

If you are an AQHA member, then you can look her up.

"Be a best friend, tell the truth, and overuse I love you
Go to work, do your best, don't outsmart your common sense
Never let your prayin knees get lazy
And love like crazy"

I did search for her at AQHA records a few years ago and found the last owner to be in Georgia and called information for the number but it's unlisted.
Also I just wanted to see if she was still alive or around and had a decent home. If they happened to not want her anymore I'd be interested in getting her back. You know sometimes you have to sell a horse that you really like alot but at the time don't have a choice.

I have had the same feelings about my old horse Tellie. He would be in his 20's now probably with arthritis from an injury he got as a yearling. I feel the same way you do and if I had the chance to even own him as a pasture puff you bet I would snatch him up. I had to sell him when I got married because we just couldn't afford him on my husbands salary. He was my heart and even almost 10 years later I still miss him. I have a feeling though he probably isn't around anymore.
