Seems Perfect...Too Perfect...

I have been looking through ads until my eyes bleed, and now have stumbled upon this: Horse ID: 1514341 - *BB Spinnaker

Oh, dear, he seems perfect... I love curlies, he's experienced, he's been shown... My problem is that he seems way too perfect. 2,500? Isn't that a bit low? I know he's old, but still.

Anyone think it's a scam? I've always been paranoid about these things, and I don't want to get my hopes up too high.

I did a little research, and found two other ads for the same horse:

Bashkir Curly Gelding For Sale in Florida | Buy this Horse at

Curly Horse for sale, *BB Spinnaker

Looks pretty genuine to me, whoever buys him is lucky if all the information on the ad is true.

Found a video too.

Forgot to add: the photo has expired, meaning the ad is probably old and the horse may have already been sold or is no longer for sale. Still, if you're interested I recommend contacting the owner.

He's probably so cheap because of his age. Not a lot of people want older horsies

Her website lists him at $5500 and mentions he has arthritis (that hardly bothers him according to her). I wonder if the arthritis bothers him more than she was thinking and that's why his price dropped $3k.

Thanks for finding all the extra info, Roro! Much thanks!

Some age and a little arthritis would be fine, assuming that it's really just a little arthritis.

I e-mail the seller. I'm not getting my hopes up, being that the ad is so old, but it would be nice if he were still available...

I see the DH ad no longer exists, so I'm assuming he's sold.

The Spinnaker horse is 19 and I don't think he has lead changes. I don't see him do any in the video. I wouldn't buy him, especially since he will probably only live 11 more years at the most...

I'm addicted to curlies since I have allergies to horses... couple I found in your state...
