To sell or not to sell?
We have to many ponies. We currently have 3 ponies under 14 hh, but more adult riders than we do kid riders. We won't sell our 14hh gelding or our 13.2hh welsh/arab mare, that the kids ride still. We do have a 12.3hh WONDERFUL mare that is a super cute eventing/jumping pony, we just don't ride her that much. We use all the ponies for giving kids lessons on, but as soon as the kids know the basics they don't really want to ride her anymore. They want to ride the bigger ponies/horses, which have smoother gates. What are my options with her, we really don't want to sell her, but we are thinking it would be the best option? Other than teaching lessons on her, none of our family really rides her. We have 3 Arabians, 1 other Poa and 1 Welsh pony that we use ALL the time, to show and teach on. What should I do, we really don't need another eventing pony? She is a quality pony with a beautiful extended trot and a nice jump form (up to 2' 9" maybe 2' 11").
The only way to know an Arabian horse is to love him.
