This is the least expensive/closest place to board. And when I'm in a real bind BO will work something out with me and has before. Just not total work my board and feed off. I honestly don't trust anyone else with my mare.

I'm in the process of getting a better paying job with stable work (no work in winter and different hours every week). I'm trying to get my truck up to par right now as well, so that's not helping any. My mum doesn't want to help, but she said she's keeping the truck when I move out..I don't really want to spend money on it if it won't stay mine, but I don't want to pay her the 7000 for it either since it was bought with an insurance check from the car I totalled after it paid the loan on it off.

I honestly don't want a all. I don't want to see someone everyday, it's ruined any sort of relationships (friend or SO) I've had in the past.
I'm going to try and get a studio apartment until I can afford a house with 2-5 acres. Or even 2-5 acres and gradually build the house on it myself. Or, wait until I have enough downpayment built up to buy my ~30acre property so I can get the plusses from it being my first property buy when I get a mortgage.
