    Selling with Youtube!

I just picked up my recent issue of Horse Sport December 2009 and there is an article on selling with Youtube. Now I have seen a few horse ads on Youtube and actually wonder is it really worth it?

What are your opinions on that subject?

I don't really understand, but all I did was upload the vids of my horse I was selling and then put the link on her ads, or if I didn't feel like putting her vid on the ad, I would email it to the people that emailed me about her.

Here's a question... anyone use a seperate account for sale ads? Often, the people show the horse at their best in the sale ad links, but looking at their account brings up videos of the horse on less 'ideal' days!

Personally, I would put a sale video on my regular channel. If people are smart then they will look at the other videos. They can see the horse's progress, what they may have to deal with, what the current rider lacks in those situations, and etcetera. They have the right to see what the horse is really like, and that brings me as a salesperson one step closer to finding the right rider for my horse.

I would always make a sale video simply because I have the access and ability to do so, but I think you should at least have nice photos. [rant] I just don't get how people can advertise a horse that they are trying to sell with two pictures of the horse ungroomed in the field (or some other variation of this example). It irks me, actually, because it really isn't hard to groom the bloody horse, focus the bloody camera, and take some bloody decent photos! And don't even get me started on some of the ad texts that I see... [/rant]
*ahem* Yes, anyways. I think that making a sale video is a great idea. You can simply put a link to the video on your paper/online ads, and also put a copy of the ad text in the YouTube video description so that your subscribers can see as well. It can give people insight on how the horse moves and responds, things that simply can't be illustrated through pictures.

Haha. Sounds like when you friend someone of FB and check out all their friends. I think I definitely would set up a seperate account for sales horses.
