Are you looking for tips on how to write/frame an ad, or just want to get the word out? If it's tips on how to write the ad, I'd just say use more facts, less emotion. Say what he's been schooling and what he's been showing and whether he can do trails or dressage. State that he rides in a hackamore only, no bit, but just say it once, you want people to come out and see him because even if they don't want him, they might know someone who does. Make sure you put up some conformation pics and what you know about his breeding (if you know.)

That's all I've got... hope it helps. And I kinda like the cross-tie picture. (Sucker for bays, hangs head)

Again, a severely limited market competing in jumpers. A lot of people want a horse they can take into other rings once in a while. I never insinuated you were an idiot for one moment, but you really should watch how you act when you're advertising something. Someone could search your horse and see this thread and be completely turned off by your attitude on here - just a cautionary blurb. People may be interested on this board even and see this.
Forgot about this when I was on my laptop. If you would like, I'll have a go at rewriting your ad to be more appealing - right now it is too busy with too much emotion. I would pass by this horse, personally, based on the wording of the ad. Cori gave you some great pointers about photo & video.

I appreciate every ones help, and im sorry if I seemed bitter towards any of you. Selling my horse is not something I want to do, nor am I good at.

I've never had to write an add before, for anything. Let alone something that holds so much meaning for me. This little man has gotten me through a lot. Which pretty much all of you probably understand since it's what horses do.

Any ways i'm well aware him only going in a hack takes away from his price. I'm going up to the farm today to take more pictures of him (not in the crossties) and working on the flat and video too. It's way to hot here to jump.
I'll post it up so you guys can see, and tell me if you think its add worthy.

Once again I apologize to any one whom I snapped at or was rude to. I realize that all of you probably have a whole hell of alot more knowledge in selling horses than I do. So if you guys (i mean all of you) could forgive me and help me out, I would forever be grateful. Again I am sorry.

Thank you.

He's a great jumper/ eq horse. He goes in a hackamore only!! HACKAMORE ONLY! He's a fantastic horse, until you put a bit on him. But in a hackamore, i've had children ride him.

He's a perfect horse for 3'6 to 3'9 jumpers. He has to try a little harder for higher courses, but he can do them no problem. He has a really nice stride, he has a big horse stride. Yet he turns and burns like a little man. He has a huge heart and will do anything you ask. I'm sure he'd do cross country if you wanted him to. He's a fantastic little man. Please let me know if you know of any one looking to lease/buy. He needs to go, and that breaks my heart to say =[ if I lease him out, i'd simply be looking for a feed lease, I don't need a profit off of him, I just need all bills paid. If you want to buy him, I'm asking 4,000 for him which in all honesty is just pathetic since he's worth about 8. Oh well.

Call me, or text me if you're interested 626 392 9660

Serious inquiries only please. If you need more pictures, I can get some.

Offered for Sale or Lease: "Name" is a X year old 15.3hh "Breed" gelding. Currently schooling X'X", has shown successfully up to X'X" jumpers. He is a jumper extraordinare that is great for an "intermediate" rider. "Name" has a big stride and is a very brave jumper. "Name" goes well in a Hackamore, but due to "injury" is unable to comfortably wear a bit.
A sacrifice at $4000, may consider a lease or lease-to-buy. Serious inquiries only, please.
Based on what little information is in the OP, I rewrote the ad as simply as I could using as much information as possible. Please note everything in quotations must be filled out, and please take the quotation marks away - I just wanted to make them very clear.
