Wow, that is a pretty serious price increase in the matter of three weeks.

why the sudden large price increase?

To give a horse your heart guarantees a love that will last forever undamageable

Well ... I believe the original price was UNDER his actual value at the time, but based on his hairy state, and the fact that he was not looking his best, someone needed to take a "leap of faith" in buying him as they really werent able to see exactly what they would be buying

Now they can - there is no more guessing and "squinting" and trying to imagine what he *might* look like cleaned up. He is a very nice, legit young prospect that moves a 10 out of 10, is beautifully put together, with a fabulous user friendly temperament and quite honestly based on what I have sold in the last few weeks, it wont matter to me one single bit to hang onto him into the fall and beyond, show him on the line, get ground work started, get him started over fences and raise his price yet AGAIN to reflect all of that

If this horse appeared at a different time in my life, I would most likely have taken that leap of faith. Must say though, he looks like much the same horse without the hair, just shinier.

People who have a good eye for horses aren't easily fooled by hair, be it shiny OR scruffy

I must remember to look at your horses during the winter 'sale' ha ha

All horses deserve, at least once in their lives, to be loved by a little girl.

I agree, Sarah.

I think there are parts of him that looked better hidden under a little hair, actually.

And this lovely youngster has been sold and will show on the line before embarking on a dressage career with his new owner

All the very very best with him!

Congrats TC! He's gorgeous!! I'll be asking you for advice if I decide to sell my baby. :) Has to be born first though.

You are a great champion. When you ran, the ground shook, the sky opened and mere mortals parted.
I love you Vinty, you'll always be my champion.

TC, is that considered as a buckskin still? He looks more dark grey to me now comparable to the original pics, so I'm just curious (I'm dumb when it comes to coat colors ).

He is absolutely still a buckskin albeit a very sooty, charcoally one ...

Up close he has a ton of grey / pewter coloured hairs throughout his coat, so if you didnt know that his sire was cremello and his dam was bay, you'd be very very certain that he would grey out in time

The dilutes are pretty fascinating overall - what you see at birth isnt at all what you are going to get once their foal and coat colours shed and come in once again over a few seasons ...
