SOLD - AQHA Trained cow horse

BOBO, 12 years old, chestnut gelding, 14.3 - 15 h and ~1,150lb. Trained as a turn back horse and gets eye to eye with a cow. I've roped off him and he's been team penning and sorting. Gentle enough for a beginner. Easy to catch in the field and comes to a whistle when needed. Broke to death. Ground ties to saddle or out on the trail to clear brush. Pedigree: Lintons Hangin Judge Quarter Horse Asking $4,500 OBO

There are additional pictures in my album (click under "horses" under my avatar).

I do dumb things sometimes. There is a horse that came up for sale that I was trying to buy for nearly a year and I can't afford both.

Man, alive. I'm glad you live a long way away from me or I might just HAVE to buy him. He sounds like a great family horse.

Thank you! He is so much more then I can put in the ad. I've had first time riders ride him safely around the pasture. If you put an experienced rider on his back, he can really perform. You can ride him today, tomorrow, or a month from now and he rides the same.

Ah man. You live too close! I might have to talk to the husband about this... think he might be able to do reining? He looks like he could, and that's what I'm looking for.

Bo has a big stop and will work off your leg as well as the reins so I would guess that he could. He's in excellent condition, physically and mentally and accepts training well.

I don't live as far away as Joshie does, and I don't need another horse but He looks like a good horse. Good luck Bill.

Thanks Eddie. Check out the new guy under "horses" in my avatar. He is a 15.3 warmblood that drives as well as rides.
