Starting a SLOW search for my perfect horse...

Some of you may know I just moved into town again. I'm living in an appartment, which I DO like being able to see my friends or go to a movie whenever I feel like it!

But, with moving I had to sell my baby. Who I love dearly, but I know he's being well cared for and I know I needed a horse I can ride when I got around to it.

Now I'm in town, and am going to a job interview tomorrow to be a carhop for Sonic. I will make minmimum wage, and tips (my cousin brought home near 100 bucks in tips usually!) So I will make about $180 a week PLUS tips. Which means, I will have money to board and care for a new horse!

I plan in working my butt off during the summer and saving the money to get a nice horse. I keep reminding myself "Only buy what you want don't settle!"

My plan is, to get the horse. Then hopfully get someone to part lease him to help out. Of course, I'll be sure I can afford him on my own with no issues. But the lease would help, and I don't see why not. :) so, I'm scanning ads and everything. Just looking, and if anyone jumps out at me I plan to try it and ride multiple times, plus hopfully have a week long trial.

I have already made up my mind, I want a GELDING. And something that is pretty tall. I want to trail ride, but also go up to a few playdays every now and then. I want something BROKE, not "needing a tune up" I'm going to get a vet check of course and have a saddle fitter look before I look at saddles. I'm making sure I'm doing everything right the first time.

I may be posting some horses on this thread that I come across in my search, and let y'all remind me what I'm looking for in a horse :P lol

If you don't mind traveling, I have a black horse with one blue eye. He'll be for sale in a couple months.

I have a 15.2 standardbred gelding, who is completely bombproof on trails! Easy to take care of, no shoes, and can keep his weight on with just grass and hay:)
