Straight Egyptian sired colt

SF Castiel
AHR# 653274
Grey Stallion
Born: April, 1st. 2011

Sire: Eyab AL Hadiye ( Nakhda Al Shaib x Hayley Fanisa)
AHR# 638012

Dam: Callista Cadence ( Bay Mareekh Blood x Karrina)
AHR# 624762

Cas has a very intersting pedigree....( Ibn EL Mareekh, True Colors, Khofo) he has one of the sweetest personalities"he wants to be right in the middle of what you are doing lol", learns really quick. He will make someone an awesome horse as a show horse or just as someones special friend. Just a really nice colt over all

I'm asking $2,000 but, a good home is most important to me so if interested please just email me.... arabianspirit@frontiernet.net

He is very beautiful- refined and elegant, but not too extreme. I hope he finds the great home he deserves!

You might generate more interest if he were gelded, as well as indicate what you've taught him to do.

At a year old, I'm not sure how you can be so certain he's going to be great at everything. What performance talents have his dam and sire demonstrated, and do either of them have any recognized breed show placings?

He's cute, but he's still a baby and not gelded. It's going to take a lot of time, effort, and money before anyone knows at what he'll excel. Besides, as much as I adore Arabians, they're not exactly hot ticket items any longer.

I do wish you luck in selling him, but you need more than just blurbs about how fantastic he is to get him sold. You need to convince people WHY they should spend $1,600 on an unbroke, not gelded baby, when they could get an already greenbroke or better adult horse for the same price.

You want the truth? You can't HANDLE the truth!

Thank you for your advice....

I did not mean I think he will go out and win everything....he might/he might not I just meant he is a really nice colt and I think he's is nice enough to be shown etc. If someone wanted to do so...he has a nice build, movement and sound mind.
I do plan to geld him if he stays here much longer. Due to my lack of funds neither of his parents have been shown they are both nice horses though not their fault at all.

He is an absolutely beautiful colt and I hope someday I can own one like him. :) I've always had a soft spot for bay and grey Arabians.

Do you have any conformation pictures? I know he's young, but you can tell a lot for his future from some conformation shots. Egyptians tend to grow pretty evenly - less of the see-saw effect between croup and withers. He certainly has a sweet face and looks to be inquisitive. Both good traits in an arab. Unfortunately, with unproven parents, and a fairly heavily linebred pedigree, you may find yourself keeping him for a while or dropping your price considerably lower. One thought is to put him through one of the arabian auctions that happen later this year.
