Trail Horse for Sale Central Illinois

Selling my black Quarter Horse/Morgan Cross gelding. He is grade, and I am not sure of his lineage, but quarter horse/morgan is the best guess.
He is approximately 9 years old (vet estimate), 14.2 hands tall, healthy, sound, and broke to ride.
He is not spooky, will walk/trot/canter out great. He is an excellent trail horse, and is very fun to ride. He leads the pack very well. He also rides great in the arena. I have ridden him English, Western, and bareback with no issues.
He is NOT for a child or beginner.
He is great at walk/trot, but will act fresh (crow hopping) when cantering at first. He calms down after a while. I have not ridden him as much as I should. I am confident that with consistent riding, he will be just fine at the canter as well.
No other bad habits. He leads well, loads into a trailer, stands tied, picks up all feet, good for vet and farrier, good in a stall, NO cribbing or weaving, stands to be saddled. He needs an assertive handler to keep him in line as he can be pushy. He is UTD on shots, vet care (teeth floated this spring, shots done).
His feet are good, doesn't need shoes.
He has an old injury in his back leg, causes some stiffness every now and then. I give him hock injections in the spring. Vet said the joint will fuse and he won't need them anymore. I give him glucosamine in the winter (supplement) when I am not riding him.
He stays fat and happy on pasture.
I am asking $1200, but will consider offers. I am looking for a good home for him. I will also consider a lease to the right person. Call or text 815-299-1507. Located near Macomb, IL.
I have pictures on his ad below:

UPDATE: I am now riding Onyx daily. I got some pointers from my trainer/barn owner. The bucking/crow hopping thing is definitely my fault, not Onyx's. He had my number when it came to cantering in an arena. He does a lot better out on trails. Until he is sold, I am going to be working with him often to correct the problem. Because I realize it is my fault, and that he will need some work, I am dropping his price to $1000. I am open to offers, especially for experienced riders/trainers. His bucking is not bad at all, more a hissy fit than real bucking, but I realize it needs to be fixed, and I will continue to work on it until he is sold. ALSO the saddle that comes with him is a ROYAL KING brand saddle, I did not realize it until I looked. It is a nice saddle.

Wow!!! I wish you were in TX!! I love him, and he would be great for my 30 year old daughter. Good luck selling him.

Thank you! I wouldn't sell him if I didn't have to, but due to a possible move and a new(er) baby, I just don't have the time or money. So I am trying to find him a good home. I am enjoying working with him while I can though.
