What do you think of these?

So my quest for a horse continues. There's alot of variety in the $1500 category, but not so much in the $1000 and under category. Hehe. These three are ones I'm considering from the $1000 and under category. What do you think?
1.) http://i1044.photobucket.com/albums/...926101737c.jpg 7 year old half arab/half QH mare. Doesn't fully neck reign. NOT registered. He's had her a few years. He's asking $800 obo. Five hour drive from me.
2.) http://i1044.photobucket.com/albums/...0910100955.jpg beautiful little black bay arab mare. 7 years old, NOT registered (this pains me somehow. Lol). Apparently is well broke, good attitude (or so they all say... ). They've had her a few months. Five hour drive. Asking $800 obo.
3.) HAAP Megan - 2006 Chestnut Sabino Mare <--LOOK! This mare is an Aladdinn great grand daughter, basically the bloodline I've always wanted. But she's not started. At all. She's 4, and supposedly she's got a laid back attitude that shouldnt make to tough. She's a blank slate. Am I crazy though? I think I probably am. The mare is outside of denver, but the breeder's business partner (the one who contacted me) is in the valley, so they have trailers that come through here all the time. I could buy her sight unseen and have her delivered to my door.
So what do you think of any of this weeks contenders in emily's saga for a horse?

The third one sure is pretty. BUT... you said that you were a college student so you were looking on a small budget. Not to be rude, but what makes you think that you will be able to pay for training, board, riding, college AND manage your college work load? She seems to be too much right now. It's not worth it if you want her just because of the bloodlines if all she'll be able to do is sit in a pasture. I would keep looking.

I don't have anything to say about the other two, I'll let somebody else come in... good luck

PB is blocked at work so I can't see the first two.
But I love Elements Arabs, and the lady is nice :) But, do you have the time and experience to start one yourself? And is that ok with you? Not being able to buy a horse and enjoy riding it right away?

With your price range, are you fine paying $1000? If so, bump up what you're looking at to $1500, and see if the sellers are flexible enough to go down to $1000 (of course ask VERY nicely and thank them for their time if they say no).

What is it you're looking for in a horse?
