Her mother was Sandy Blue Chip, from Blue Chip farms, with her ancestors being the Hanover standarbreds. Chip was raced 252, and then had 3 foals. When she didn't take for the 2nd time in a row, she was sold to slaughter, in which she was adopted by Valley Run Horse Centre. I don't own chip, I just work with her because everybody else thinks she bites and isn't fun to work with. Really, she's a darling, she just has man issues and a couple other issues from her past, like she's dulled and we are working on getting her to walk forward easily under saddle.
