About NormanNorm was my first horse, so he's pretty special. We got him when he was 18 months old and I was 13. His breeder actually gave him away because he came out "the wrong color", (Cream breeders are weird about that). His new owners had him for a few months, and then they sold him to us. We ended up selling him about 8 months later, then bought him back less than a year after that. He's been a big, dufus lawn ornament ever since.

Fast forward a few years >>> He's roughly the size of an African Elephant with feet the size of hub caps (fed on a steady diet of granola bars and Miracle Gro). He's in great shape, if you consider round a shape. He's also a grand champion Carrot Eater, Mess Maker, and Foot Smasher. If the Incredible Hulk had a horse, it would be Norman. That's why we call him 'Normous. ;)

His best friend is Victor, who treats him like the obnoxious little brother that he is. Norman's greatest love, however, is food. Any food. Even the inedible kind, like rubber T-post caps and the contents of my grooming kit. I'm always prying something out of his mouth.

I would love to see him trained to drive someday. I think he'd make an awesome carriage horse.
ActivitiesTrail riding once in a while.
Location
Favorite FoodCarrots, watermelon, apples, granola bars, and anything else that doesn't bite him first.

Do American Creams share a common ancestry with Belgians?

Norman is so eye catching! I know the American Creams want the pale champagne color, but I prefer a good sorrel like Norman myself.

I have a feeling his breeder didn't like his color because Creams are supposed to me much lighter, but LUCKY for you, he's awesome !
