About Satin	Mixed breed filly (Andalusian, Clydesdale, Arab, and I suspect a significant amount of Welsh in her, plus goodness knows what else) to mature around 15hh. Currently (as of 15 october 2011) she is about 13hh, maybe a bit taller, at not quite 10 months. She is VERY cheeky and will definitely be lead mare when she's older, larger, and wiser. She will not be started to saddle until she is 3 1/2 (at the earliest) and will be either spelled or in light work until she is at least 4. She won't be jumped before 4 and if I do jump her that young, nothing above 18" until she's at least 5. If she has the passion for jumping the way I do, she will be my next eventer and showjumper, but if not she'll make a fun dressage horse, or maybe a polo pony.
Activities	Pasture puff, in-hand showmanship pony, will mature into an eventer, dressage horse, polo pony, or just all-round fun bum-around trail horse. Groundwork training (some of you would call it natural horsemanship... but it's not, it's just groundwork) and undergoing spookproofing so she'll be easier to get along with when the time comes to start her to saddle.
