eng pleasure, equit and hack

Hi.

So i'm going to a local inexpensive show and want to know the difference in these.

Equitation is on the rail - so do I enter and stay on the rail all the time?

In pleasure - since it doesn't say it's on the rail, do I just go in and do what I want - LOL?

And what is "hack" if there are no jumps? Don't think this show has o/f classes.

I don't exactly know what you're supposed to do for each but:

Equitation - judged on your position
Pleasure - judged on the horse

Hack - usually a flat class consisting of the following:

Halt, walk, sitting trot, rising trot, extended trot, collected canter, working canter, hand-gallop, show ring reverse
