Hey guys. So I went to see a second horse yesterday and he was very very fancy and flashy but only has one eye and is much smaller, and the owner wants twice as much as this horse now that Risico's price has dropped. My trainer is still trying to get this second horses price down so I guess we will see. Otherwise this guy it is!

He wears a fake eye all the time and you really can't tell, but with two eyes he would probably be a 60k horse. Even so, 9000 seems pretty high for a horse with one eye for only a year lease.

So exciting! Is he spooky with just one eye? Sometimes they can be, sometimes they're better! A girl at our barn has a horse that used to be really spooky and kind of a nut. He had some sort of bacterial infection and lost sight in it completely. Amazingly, he quit spooking at things! (kind of like putting blinders on a horse!) She even shows him in the jumpers now. A friend of mine growing up had a horse blind in one eye and she was lunging him one day and got him too close to a jump cup (on a standard, no pole) and he crashed into the standard and cut his shoulder. :( Poor guy. You'd have to be careful for things like that. Any videos?

He didn't seem spooky, just if he wants to see something on his bad side he swings his head around really fast, which spooked me cause I thought he was trying to bite me but he was just trying to see. He's really a sweetie too. I signed the lease today!
