Wow! I see this video so differently even watching it again now, after everyone's comments have had time to sink in further!...amazing what a small amount of education and instruction can do for one's "vision".

Watching it, I do see a green horse, learning a lot at one time time, and focusing hard on such (what I previously, erroneously saw as a possible "lackluster" way of going...)

And I do see what NBEventer just was saying...the rider almost working really hard to HELP this boy go easier...he's taking the jumps oddly, "green-ly" as I can now see; and it literally does look like the rider is almost helping him to get over the jumps with more freedom, or more clarity of movement...that's a terrible description on my part, I know...but in my brain it makes perfect sense!

I really, really like this horse...and he's simply adorable aside from his obviously very likely wonderful temperament! :0)

Thus, I certainly appreciate you sharing with me the recent experience here related to problematic posts. I can absolutely appreciate one responding cautiously, given what had occurred...bottom line, however, despite whatever recently took place, the only person who was remotely disrespectful or intimated I was somehow not capable of purchasing/owning a horse of this caliber (or something similar), was fnb. Regardless of whether or not she feels this statement which she made: "unless it is a horse you are looking to buy, which I doubt." is rude, I strongly believe it is startlingly so and similarly uncalled for. Take it how you want. As I have stated, I saw this as a "I was cruising the net and saw this random video"....which is basically what YOU, OP stated in your initial post. The fact that I "doubt" that you would buy it comes ONLY from what you stated. You NEVER said you were interested in the horse, or anything to that effect. Sorry if that offends you,but you have totally misinterpreted why I would "doubt" you buying the horse, and have chosen to take a meaning that you find offensive. Why would I question your ability to have a gorse of this caliber, whether it be financially or otherwise? I know nothing about you other than what you state here. Yeah, I am sorry you have taken offense, but I cannot change your perception.

Strangely, you (Maura) were the only one (between the two of you) who even took the time to explain the other situation to me, as well as to treat me with enough respect to actually answer my questions...

It's a moot point now, and if fnb feels the comment she made is not condescending, well, that's her prerogative. Exactly.I feel otherwise. Nonetheless, it's done with now, and I'm certainly still extremely appreciative of the insights I received from you and everyone else, as you were all so polite and helpful, and again, gave me teriffic advice. :0)

Thanks again for your time, Maura and everyone else who put in your insights! Learning is still what it's all about for me!!
