Well, with our first hunter show under our belt, we competed in our second show this past weekend and I couldn't have been prouder of my little 14.3 hand horsey! We placed fourth and first in 2 of our 3 Over Fences classes (we got tired and knocked a pole in our last go round which of course left us out of the ribbons)...there were 14 total in our class so it was pretty competitive for a schooling show, and she landed EVERY single one of her leads over the fences which made me one proud mamma!!
We didn't place this time around in our flat classes (lots of beautiful movers!!) but I didn't care, after the much improved jump rounds! And to my surprise, we ended up Reserve Champions too!
Here was our first place round over fences :)
This was a video from our best trip O/F in the last show, about a month ago...I think we are both much improved from then! In the last show, I had to get 2 simple changes (which weren't all that smooth) and this time around, no changes necessary! Pony is learning!
And here are some cute pics from the show that my family took of us...
Getting ready to show!
In our flat classes...Sandie was a "buckskin among bays"!
