I do not have reaction like that most of the time I kill it. But not before I have a good laugh watching my friends having reactions like the pictures on the thread.

I was riding with a group of friends one morning at the lake when one of those little spiders that lives in a colored crab type shell fell down my shirt. Thank goodness it was only women that morning! I didn't even think twice - that shirt was off and I was whipping it in the air... LOL!

There are an estimated 1 million spiders per acre of land. Get used to them, folks, they out number us! LOL

My first saturday working at the ranch I was feeding alone...Betina and Clevelend were at a parade so it was just me and 20 something horses....they had FAILED to tell me that they had a bunch of Cane Spiders around....

So there I am digging around Chess's crate grabbing one of the tubs of cubes for his breakfast when I come face to face with this.....

About 5-6 inches long, just chilling out on the tub I had in my hand!

I screamed like a little girl, threw the tub to the back of his crate and did the jiggle dance backward so fast the back of my knees hit the pole of his stall and I went a** over teakettle into his stall....after looking around to make sure nobody could have seen it I went and got 2 muck rakes, and scooped up the hay cubes into his feeder, then used the handles to close the doors of the tub. And hastily moved on to the next one

Now where exactly was this? Just so I know never to come visit.

I have giant orb weavers here - get as big as the cane spiders - string webs over 6 foot across a trail and is VERY intimidating when you ride right into one on horseback -even the horses freak out because the webs are sticky, and strong.
