That is like my puppy, even tho he is 17 months old he is very patient when it comes to food. I think he chews his food 32 times like a human is supposed to

GSD's are the best

I never had one - we mostly have always had gun dogs and they'd eat the plate as well if it was stuck in front of them!!!
