GOOD KING WHAT'S HIS NAME
Good king What's His Name looked out
On the geese of Stephen
They looked good enough to eat
His mind was set on thieving
Brightly shone their feathers bright
The king's eyes grew so cruel
'I shall filch those fowl this night
Stephen is a fool.'
Donning boots and blunderbuss
In his pink suspenders
Making sure he had his truss
In case of deep knee benders
Out into the night he trudged
Where the geese were grazing
How their strength he so misjudged
Truly is amazing
He lunged to grab a chubby goose
The darn thing started pecking
Crying out he let it loose
His plans, the geese were wrecking
Their feathery fury soon made him
Aware they were not bluffing
As one by one the fowl laid in
And pounded out his stuffing
Good king What's His Name looked out
On the geese of Stephen
In a full length body cast
The plaster smooth and even
However shone their feathers bright
The king was way past caring
From that day forth King What's His Name
Became a vegetarian
