Good Neighbors

A guy looks out his window one night and sees his dog chewing on some kind of animal. Running outside, he takes it away and notices that it's his neighbor's pet rabbit!
Feeling bad, he cleans it up best he can and sneaks over next door, sticking it back in it's cage, thinking that maybe his neighbor will think it died peacefully in the night.
The next day, he's talking to his neighbor, and the rabbit's owner says, "You know, the strangest thing happened this morning. I looked in Fluffy's cage, and there he was!"
The dog owner felt a little bad, but pretended he didn't know anything, "Why is that strange?"
"Well, he died a week ago, and I would've sworn I buried him under that old tree!"

Yet another old joke my dad would tell all the time.
