Years ago, I worked at a Burger King in Arizona, one time a horse drawn carriage came through our drive thru. Since then I hadn't seen it happen though I've worked at fast food restaurants every now and then for a side job to provide extra cash. I saw this article by HorseNation on my facebook profile and had to share it! I picked my three favorite from the article to post, enjoy the others!
Years ago we went to a drive-in movie on horseback. We were just asked to make sure we didn't block any one's view of the screen. We didn't enjoy the movie so instead went to an A&W next door when they had the car hops. We were waited on. We were courteous and waited in the farthest parking slot. The problem with doing that was headlights left on indicated you were waiting for service. Horses don't come equipped with headlights but we didn't wait lon.
My friends and I used to ride our horses through the McDonalds drive through Sunday mornings to get breakfast. It was always a lot of fun. That was the perk of living in a more populated area! Where I'm at now it takes 20 minutes by car to get to the nearest Mickey D's.
