I don't think any of my horses would be too thrilled with a lantern affixed to it's tail! I'd be worried about the fire hazard!!

Also, if your only mode of transportation is a horse, by law, your employer has to provide you with a place to stall/stable your horse while you are at work.

Oh, here's one that is NOT funny! I get an email of Animal Petitions regularly. Today one of the petitions was headed by outlawing live Pigeons being stuffed into spring loaded boxes and launched into the air to be shot. What happened to clay pigeons- which would shoot up into the air way better anyway!
But, "In addition the bill would outlaw the slaughter or sale of cats and dogs for human consumption". Officials with ASPCA state that even though it is "relatively rare" it is legal in the state of Pennsylvania. Actually, here is the article, Outlaw Horrific Live Pigeon Shoots
I thought this was America, where people know better!

Here's a few from my province. I'm going to have to talk to the boss about that hitching rail............ lol!

·Businesses must provide rails for tying up horses.

In Wetaskiwin, AB tying a male horse next to a female horse was illegal in 1917.

Profanity is considered so offensive in Jasper that since 2005, it's been punishable under law to swear in public.

    Can't do THIS in Edmonton
Alberta may be cowboy country but horses - whether tiny ones or big ones - are not allowed on city sidewalks.

Meanwhile, in Calgary, it's not illegal to ride a horse just about anywhere in the city, but it is illegal to ride a horse down a city street and not clean up after it.

And this one I found mighty interesting, as I am a bike commuter:
All bicycle riders in Edmonton must signal with the arm before making a turn. However, a previous clause in the bylaw states bicycle riders must keep "both hands on the handlebars at all times."
