I know. Our barn wasn't built to house horses. It was built as a kill barn for cattle so none of the stalls are the same size. My horse just so happens to get the giant one that doubles as the run-in during the day and is his stall at night (the doors out to the pasture shut).

But since it's so big I was kind of surprised they could call it animal abuse to house him in it. He could freaking gallop from one end to the other if he wanted to.

I would love to be able to build a stall like that for my small herd of 4!!! That would be a massive barn though!

    I love this list!

An ex of mine once wanted me to "take that horse to a race track so we could enter him in a race and make some money."

I am hoping to this day that I was missing some kind of joke there. Unfortunately, I don't think I was.

I don't think this was added but:

A stallion is not a breed of horse!! Everyone seems to think they are a certain color or breed….

Ok this just happened the other day in school… we were going somewhere on the bus and we passed a horse farm and a girl behind me that knows I ride was like "SHELLY LOOK! DO YOU SEE THE HORSES!!" and I'm like "yes". And then another girl was like "oh how cute, they are wearing coats!" and I'm thinking "they are called blankets". And then the first girl was like "is it ok if they go without hooves in the winter?"

    Me: O__O
    ~you mean shoes??

She meant shoes, but how can you mix the two up she was also the one that didn't know what a draft was and thought it was a "pony-horse" or a stallion…. Thank God for funny non horse people!
