Well, When I was little I wanted to be like the people in the movies how they throw a rope out and then slide down it. So, I tied a rope to my deck and slid down that. No one told me about rope burns. Here is another thread with the exact same topic as yours: What is the Stupidest Thing You've Done with your Horse?

I may seem small, but if you mess with my horse, I will break out a level of crazy that will make your nightmares seem like a happy place.

So this evening, just for kicks & giggles, I tied the end of my lead rope on the offside of the halter & jumped on my wild Mustang bareback. WHAT. WAS. I. THINKING??? You *know* how busy the ER is on holiday weekends! As it was, he took me for a nice gentle ride around the arena, where I quickly decided not to press my luck & slid off of him- a heckuva lot easier than I thought I would. The feeling was indescribable:)

Well, I have to say the dumbest thing I did (recently) was:
My trainer let me teach her western pleasure horse to go English and we took him to a show. I was scheduled to do my first showmanship class ever and I trotted him up to the judge for inspection. I messed up my quartering (HOW?), told him to "whoa" when he moved sideways 3 FEET FROM THE JUDGE (!?!), forgot to back five steps before the pivot, and then botched the pivot. Needless to say my face was the same color as my *borrowed* hot pink show shirt. I still got 4 out of 5 and it was the novice showmanship. But the thought that three other little peewee squirts all under 8 beat me... and I'm 14... yup.
