We haz ninja skillz together... we will raid and loot and take everything we can. Plus have a stock pile prepared.

We will need to set a few times a year that we hit main land to get goodies we are running low on though. But that's what our army is for.

I think by that rate would actually eventually clear out enough land to set up a land base community, it'd be a good trading outpost and make getting supplies to secure areas much quicker. With enough man power, fencing in sections of a town or city wouldn't be hard, and stationed guards would be an easy peasey job! Not like zombies move too awful fast, but we'd be more weary of other living humans... nasty species we are.

Besides we'll need land based connections in the future, hurricanes can be quite a nasty thing and I sure wouldn't want to get stuck in a giant boat during one. O_O

Good point... we should stick with the island idea... there are lots of great islands that are not effected by hurricanes such as Prince Edward Island...

Excuse my lack of geography, where is Prince Edwards Island? It does sound like a bit of a relaxing resort area! :p

Oohhhh, yes yes I can see that being a nice community island. Our biggest thing would be eradicating the zombies who already infested it, tourists can be a nasty lot.

That aside, it looks lush enough to support and maintain a nice equine band (we are going to need some users to let us use their nice stallions ) and give the rest of us plenty of space to keep ourselves fed.

With such a small population it wont be to hard to do. Plus there are already tons of breeding farms there. It is a farm province. Also has the only vet school in the maritimes. We would be set. The bridge would be easy to protect and it will be no problem to kill off the zombies there.

*is having way to much fun with this*

My DH is OK on construction too - just need to check his measuring skills (early warning here). He's good on all the farming side of things so could have his uses
I vote yes on the Island idea - forgot how sea sick I get on boats - not a pretty sight
I will need very clear directions though - I don't suppose SatNav will work?

Agreed with Jaydee, GETTING to the island would be the most difficult part I think it would be wise to set up signs for members to follow, establish small safe houses along the way so that secure camping would be ensured and less lives lost in the traveling process.

Just keep heading north! Lol. I suggest everyone googlemap it and print it off now so you have it ready when its time to go.

Now to get those ships ready for the over seas crew...
