I am planning on competing my horse for the first time at an ag show, doing unofficial and junior classes.
I am stressing that I will look like the odd one out.
Is it fine to weear beige joddies and a polo shirt with a white saddle cloth? Should I wear A jacket?
Stressing massively.
And there is no need to plait is there?
My horse is still a fluffy beast... oh dear.

I used to do a lot of ag shows and there were people that were platted up with a coat and stock, and there were ones that had a nicely groomed horse with their coat and stock, then there were ones with nicely groomed horses with polo's or even platted up with polo's.
Personally, I was always platted up and had a coat, vest and tie but only because I was riding a couple horses in show jumping as well as hack and hunter rings.
Show jumping doesn't strictly have a dress code you need to follow, but if you're planning on any hacking or rider classes you need to plat up and dress up unless programs state it's acceptable to wear a polo shirt. Always tuck your shirt in as well and look as neat and tidy as possible.
