    I wouldn't say it's too late to teach him, but he probably won't be able to jump as high as he would have if he were started younger. I have taught a 11 year old to jump 3'5", so you could probably get him jumping 3 feet, but then again, it totally depends in the horse.

    It can be done but I wouldn't train him yourself. There are so many things people can do wrong without knowing. I am JUST finding this out and luckily I did before Gidget and I got serious as I was creating some habits without knowing. If you want this horse I would have someone help train him that knows what they are doing.
