Cross country!!!

Ok for those of you who know me, I told you I would post some video of my first cross country course with Sandie (her first too!!)

For those who don't know me, keep in mind that both the horse and I have only been jumping for about 2 months, and we're both green in general!! (so don't judge these for form or anything lol)

I flew up out of the saddle on several occasions that day, caught off guard by the giant "pop" that Sandie had going over the cross country jumps...we are used to skinny little poles in the arena! Cross country is definitely the most fun thing I've ever done though And for those who DO know me, check this pic out (my form actually looks much better I think!!) The video is below it -the pic looks better haha...in the video I get popped up out of the saddle (I wasn't asking for a canter, she picked it up and I let her go with it and up until now I pretty much have only been trotting jumps!)

HITS you're doing alot better than I did! You both look lovly! Hopfully I will be better and maybe with a new horse at the end of the summer! Good luck! I will be gone the day of your event, but I can't wait to hear about it! Oh and make a list before you go, I had everything, lol!

Ya'll look so great. I really love those big muscles on her butt when she jumps. Great Job. And it looks like what she lacks in stature, she more than makes up for in heart. :)

And here's one just for fun lol...I came SO close to falling off! Managed to pull myself back in the saddle though which is good She hesitated at the jump, then popped over it and I was NOT ready for that, so I got seriously left behind...

AWW! Sandie looks great and so do you! She's got a cute little form! For not being experienced, she looks really brave. She looks like she's really a tryer. Good job for staying in the saddle on that last jump, I don't think many people would have!
