Finally can post pics of my jumping ... comments, please.

Yay! My sister is in town and managed to get some good photos of me jumping! I have only been doing it without getting left behind or otherwise failing, for about a month.

This looks like a great sequence, but is actually 3 different attempts!

And this is my favorite:

I know my hands were uneven, not sure what that's about, but hoping to fix it soon.

This is not my horse, this one's more likely to jump anyway and be forgiving, although he's not a school horse exactly. My horse has a big jump and needs more help staying straight, so I'm not jumping on him yet.

The dark bay quarter horse in the background is my horse with my daughter on him, and she would be horrified to see herself looking like that on the 'net! They're both taking a break.

You look very nervous when you are about to take off. But you have not long started jumping so from what I can see its good progress! Do you bounce in your seat alot inbetween jumps? Xxx

Lol, yes I am nervous jumping! I am getting better, thinking about what's after the jump and what's under me and not the jump itself. No, I don't bounce around in my seat, not sure what's going on in that photo. Where I live we do the "half seat"canter. It's not a deep seat the whole time you are cantering, you let the movement of the horse push you out of the saddle every stride. I'm hoping that's what you're seeing there.

Good release in the first photo. Second one, too.
