Today I went out to the barn, I was just going to work on some flat work with Johnny but the lesson instructor who had used the arena before Johnny and I did had left the jumps out. So before riding I ran around the course she had set up, Johnny chased after me and jumped along with me. Johnny used to jump 4'-5' with his previous owners. But hadn't jumped for almost a year. He took the jumps pretty good! So we did so did our flat work, and eventually I got bored of it and decided to take him over some jumps. I have jumped before, but have never actually been coached or taken lessons for me. I've jumped up to 3'3. Anyways, Johnny handled the jumps like a pro, he just loved it! So I am planning on doing eventing with him, seeing as he's defiantly got it in him, and I've been looking for a horse with the go like him to be my partner!
