So, technically, this was my first jumping lesson
My legs really ache, though! I'm going to do lots of squats (ugh, squats) to try and reduce how much ache I'm going to have tomorrow, and to build up strength in my legs. I was wobbling all over the place today, doing my best not to grip with my knees and holding onto Charlie's neck strap quite a lot.
It's also weird how much more effort goes into rising trot when you shorten your stirrups by just two holes! I was truly worn out by the end of that lesson. But it was loads of fun
