This upcoming weekend I will be showing in my first jumping show. The jumps will be no higher than 2' and they will be x rails, verticals, and oxers. I was wondering if there is anything I should remeber or any tips anyone has, that would be great
Keep your pace consistent, even if it's a jumper course. You don't need to go barrelling out of control at everything. Consistent pace and adjustments a few strides before lines if needed.
Breath.
Eyes up.
Strong legs.

Extra tips: If you're going over jump no 4, look over to no 5 as you go over no 4! If you're cantering to a jump and the next jump is on a different rein, as you go over the jump, turn your hand slightly and squeeze your inside leg on the girth to encourage the pony to and on the right leg
