First time jumping, HELP!!

I have jumped a few times before but I don't know the right position and how to come up to it. I am doing jumping tomorrow so I need some tips on how to jump quickly please .

So you're jumping and you don't know how to do the correct position? You need to talk to your trainer about this...you should not be jumping when you don't know how.

My instructor told me how to do it and she said I did it perfectly, thank you, so I think I do know how to jump now.

Oh ok, then why are you asking about how to do the position...if you can do it perfectly

I'm sure your instructor will have taught you the jumping posistion before asking you to jump

Some things to remember when you jump are: look where you are going, Remember energy, Dont worry! You'd rather canter out then trot out so squeeze! Lastly, have fun! Jumping will grow on you! Its really fun advancing too! I love jumping (I jump 2'9) :) Have a good lesson

If you are having a lesson couldn't you ask your trainer this? Sorry, but I agree with above posters, jumping is a no-no if you don't know how. You should be fully knowledgeable in two point, releases, etc before you progress over small crossrails and the occasional small verticle.
