Talking Gonzo!!!

Okay, so I posted a thread a month or so ago, about how dramatically downhill Gonzo had gone. Well, last week Courtney got on him & I then I got back on him today. He wasn't as good as he was this summer, but ohimgosh, such big milestones today!! First of all, he did a few of his first jumps at a canter, we also went over his first "spread" (just two poles with some dirt in between), a few verticles {he has only done one or two in his lifetime}, and his first verticle from a canter!! He also did his first course!!! All of which he did which no protest whatsoever!! YAY!!

That's wonderful! You must be so excited! What are you plans with him? Hunters/jumpers? You guys working with a trainer? My usual request comes in for pictures :)

I'll try & take pics this week! Yes, we're working with my trainer who does hunters & eventers. Umm, well, no specific plans with him because he is part gaited so he doesn't have a "true canter"..soo he can't really show, soo just going to turn him into a nice jumper and then probably a school horse at my hunter barn :)
